The Mon Tiki catamarans were built right here on Long Island by the people who sail them. Inspired by traditional Polynesian designs, our 40′ Mon Tiki and 65′ Mon Tiki Largo eco-conscious catamarans are the only US Coast Guard Certified sailing passenger vessels in Montauk and Largo has the largest passenger capacity of any sailing vessel in the Hamptons. Our zippy 26′ “little sister” catamaran Mon Tiki Mini is perfect for smaller groups of 1-6 guests.

Discover Mon Tiki Largo
Mon Tiki Largo is a 65’ x 29’ open bridge deck catamaran, inspired by traditional Polynesian double-canoe designs. We are USCG certified with professional and experienced captains and crew. All food/beverage is BYO, but we can put you in touch with some local catering options if you need assistance with that. There is a table on deck to set up snacks, etc. and 2 big Yeti ice buckets for beverage access. Moderate quantities of wine/beer/seltzers are permitted for guests of legal drinking age.
Our sailing trips are out and back sailing excursions through the harbor and Sound, taking best advantage of the conditions of the day – exactly what the sail plan is will depend on temperature, wind, and sea conditions, as well as the make up of the group – the Captain will confer with you about this before departure. The boat comes with paddle boards and a giant SuperSUP included in the charter price if you want to anchor up for a swim stop on a 3 hour charter, and we have a Bluetooth stereo on board for your playlist. Pure day sails and sunset cruises of 2 hours also available.

The Original Mon Tiki
The one that started it all! The original Mon Tiki was the first of our fleet and the perfect choice for mid-sized groups. She is a 40’ x 20’ open bridge deck catamaran, inspired by traditional Polynesian double-canoe designs, USCG certified, and staffed with professional and experienced captains and crew. All food/beverage is BYO, but we can put you in touch with some local catering options if you need assistance with that. There are two Yeti 45 coolers on board for beverage access. Moderate quantities of wine/beer/seltzers are permitted for guests of legal drinking age.

Mon Tiki Mini is Mighty!
Like our other catamarans, our 26’ x 15′ catamaran Mon Tiki Mini has an open deck plan, but in a size that’s perfect for smaller groups of up to 6 passengers. You can choose to ride back on the hardwood planked deck, or hang out forward in the trampoline. One of our USCG Certified sailing Captains is included in the charter price.
There is a Bluetooth stereo on board if you’d like to stream a playlist, and a paddle board comes included if you’d like to anchor up for a swim stop on a 3 hour day charter. A 2 hour charter is great for a pure day sail or a sunset cruise. You are welcome to bring along a BYO picnic and we’ve got a Yeti cooler bag available to keep your beverages cold.
Please note: Children 12 and under must wear life jackets while on board Mon Tiki Mini. We provide age/weight appropriate jackets or you may bring your own if you have one your child is comfortable with.
We provide bean bag cushions for seating, but due to Mini’s lower profile, guests with mobility concerns may prefer the more traditional seating options on our 40′ or 65′ catamarans.
